1796 25C --Plugged, Scratched--NCS. VG Details. B-2, R.3. The more available of two varieties for this highly elusive one-year type, the B-2 is always in strong demand. Blue-green and silver-gray patina drapes the surfaces of this well-worn example. Several circular areas of deeper toning above Liberty's head suggest multiple plugs, and both the portrait and the eagle show significant X-shaped cuts and a number of shallower, similar marks.(Registry values: P7)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 23RA, PCGS# 5310, Greysheet# 5056)
