    Description

1804 Quarter Dollar, B-1, VF Details

1804 25C B-1, R.3 -- Surfaces Smoothed -- PCGS Genuine. VF Details. Clashed dies. Further study of the die state is hindered by the smoothing of the surfaces, which gives the coin a faintly granular texture under a loupe. The coin is sharply detailed on the reverse eagle and is lightly worn on the Liberty portrait. Both sides have uniform gray toning. The popularity of the 1804 date makes this elusive issue collectible even with minor impairments.
