Description

1804 25C Fair 2 PCGS. B-1, R.4. Most of the central design details have been worn away, but the date and left side obverse stars are still apparent, as is LIBERTY. The eagle's head, the stars and clouds above, and STATES OF are readily evident on the reverse. Some faint pinscratches and adjustment marks are noted on each side. From the first year of the Heraldic Eagle design type, and one of just 6,738 pieces produced.
