Description
Low Mintage 1804 Quarter, Fine 12, B-1
1804 25C Fine 12 PCGS. CAC. B-1, R.3. This variety is attributed by the low 4 in the date, the relatively wide space between the B and E in LIBERTY, and a small die cut between stars 8 and 9. This pleasing, original piece displays medium gray fields that highlight lighter gray design elements. Nice detail for the grade, including strong definition on the last ten letters of the reverse motto. A small area of fine pinscratches on the rim near the U of UNITED are not all that distracting, and serve to identify the coin. Housed in an early generation holder.(Registry values: P7)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 23RB, PCGS# 5312, GSID# 5057)
