Description
1804 Draped Bust Quarter, Good 4
Scarce, Key Date, B-1 Variety
1804 25C Good 4 PCGS. B-1, R.3. Among Draped Bust quarters,
the 1804 is a key date in the series, second only to the 1796 in
terms of popularity. Two varieties are known for the date, with B-1
easily identified by the die line defect at Star 9. The present
coin is a well-worn example, but the date and much of the legends
remain readable. The central design motifs remain visible in
outline. A few adjustment marks are evident on the left obverse
surface.(Registry values: P7)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 23RB, PCGS# 5312, GSID# 5057)
