1805 25C XF40 PCGS. B-4, Low R.4. The 1805 Draped Bust quarter enjoyed a significant mintage of 121,391 pieces, with five die varieties known for the date. The present coin represents the scarce B-4 variety, with the bottom serifs of I and T missing in the obverse legend, and the Large Stars on the reverse. The present coin is a lightly circulated specimen, with gunmetal-blue and gray surfaces. Population: 27 in 40, 80 finer (10/10).
