Description

1806 B-7 Quarter, AU Details
R.5 Variety; Possible Condition Census

1806 25C B-7, R.5 -- Obverse Scratched, Cleaned -- NGC Details. AU. Silver surfaces contain slight apricot highlights, with additional hints of peach and blue-steel on the reverse. Some brightness and a few minor scratches in the left obverse field likely led to NGC's Cleaned and Scratched assessment. The B-7 utilizes the R above T obverse used on the four rarest die marriages of the year. This coin would rank fifth in the Rea-Koenings-Haroutunian Census, absent other new discoveries, and is either the Greer-Higleyville example or a new discovery.
