Terminal 1806 B-9 Quarter, XF40

1806 25C XF40 PCGS. B-9-A, R.1. Breen Die State XI. This variety is usually recognized by the vertical bisecting obverse die crack from the 1 through Liberty's hair to the E. The reverse now has narrow rim breaks over OF and A. Both dies show clash marks, and the obverse has been lapped, the bottom half of the lowest curl entirely missing. Both sides have deep gray and steel toning with lighter gray on Liberty's shoulder. Aside from the usual faint handling marks, the surfaces are smooth and pleasing.(Registry values: P5)
