1806/5 25C AU58 NGC. B-1, R.2. Tompkins Die State 2/3. The sole overdated 1806 variety. The underdigit is obvious. The borders are deeply toned in forest-green and russet-red, while the open fields are autumn-gold and the devices are stone-gray. This unabraded example is well struck except for the star beneath cloud 5, opposite Liberty's high relief shoulder. Census: 5 in 58, 10 finer (6/12).(Registry values: P6)
