Splendid Select Uncirculated 1806/5 Quarter
1806/5 25C MS63 PCGS. B-1, R.2. Deeply toned surfaces on both sides of this splendid Select Mint State example. This is a nicely centered impression with full border details, save for some notable softness on the obverse peripheral stars. Both sides have dark gunmetal toning with slightly lighter pinkish color at the centers. Although not fully struck, all of the design elements are quite well detailed. The overdate feature is bold and easily visible, even without magnification, a noteworthy feature on this coin. Prominent die clash marks are visible on both the obverse and reverse. Few examples of this variety meet or exceed this specimen for quality. Population: 4 in 63, 4 finer (7/06).(Registry values: P6)Coin Index Numbers: (PCGS# 5315, Greysheet# 5098)
