Description

1807 B-1 Quarter, AU58
Partly Lustrous and Unblemished

1807 25C B-1, R.2, AU58 PCGS. Tompkins Die State 2/2. Blushes of forest-green visit the reverse, but the majority of this Draped Bust type coin displays light golden-brown and silver-gray toning. Luster illuminates the borders, curls, and plumage. The surfaces are lightly clashed (as struck) but lack any consequential contact. This exquisite example is a ready acquisition for type collectors looking for an exceptional piece.
