Description

1807 Draped Bust Quarter, Unc Details
Final Year of Design, B-1 Variety

1807 25C B-1, R.2 -- Graffiti -- PCGS Genuine. Unc Details. A sharply detailed, lightly marked specimen that shows dramatic clash marks on both sides, with attractive shades of magenta, blue, and golden toning. Semiprooflike reflectivity shines through the patina in sheltered areas. The dentils are weak on both sides, as usually seen on the B-1 variety. Some minor pinscratches on the bust constitute the noted damage. The Draped Bust design was discontinued after 1807, and no more quarters were struck until 1815.
