    Description

    1804 B-1 Quarter, Fine Details
    Key Draped Bust Issue

1804 25C B-1, R.3 -- Surfaces Smoothed -- PCGS Genuine. Fine Details. Tompkins Die State 2/2, both dies clashed. This key-date Draped Bust quarter is well-detailed with complete border dentils on the obverse and nearly complete dentils on the reverse. To the unaided eye, this lavender-gray B-1 coin appears smooth and problem-free, but a loupe reveals faint granularity over each side from an apparent attempt to smooth out abrasions.
