Description
1806 25C B-2, R.2, VF25 PCGS. Tompkins Die State 1/2, struck from an early die state. both the obverse and reverse of this toned Browning-2 example are sharp for the assigned grade. Light-tan toning on the high points contrasts with deep, walnut-brown patina that dominates the fields. The reverse is especially sharp for a midgrade B-2 quarter, and both sides are remarkably unabraded.Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 23RD, Variety PCGS# 38928, Base PCGS# 5314, Greysheet# 212671)
