Description

Ferdinand VII 2 Reales 1822P-O, KM74 (Colombia), lightly toned VG-F, some light marks on the obverse. Originally thought to be an issue of Popayan, the P mintmark on this coin is now believed to be Pasto, which is in Ecuador. Very scarce and fascinating relic of the final days of Spanish colonial rule in Latin America. Underrated in the SCWC.
