    Description

    1976-D Type Two Dollar, MS67
Among the Finest at Both Services

1976-D $1 Type Two MS67 PCGS. Ex: Sonoran Monsoon. Sharp, delicate reverse lettering sets the Type Two design apart from the Type One, which exhibits broad, low-relief letters. More than 82 million Type Two dollars were struck at the Denver Mint in 1976, commemorating America's bicentennial. A sufficient number of examples survive through MS67 to satisfy most collector demand, but finer representatives are unknown at the major grading services. This sharply struck Superb Gem offers glimmering satin luster over surfaces that show subtle powder-blue and golden accents. Population: 26 in 67 (1 in 67+), 0 finer (11/15).
From The Sonoran Monsoon Collection.(Registry values: N491)

    Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# B76P, PCGS# 7421)

    Weight: 22.68 grams
