Hunt & Nash (Irving House), 10 cents, HB-154, EP-119, Reed-IH10RB. VF. A nice example of the popular ribbed (grooved) frame variety from one of John Gault's earliest clients, the famous New York Irving House hotel named after the author. The stamp is choice. The mica is lightly crazed with a small crack near the denomination. The case is sound, though not tightly closed. An R.5 piece that catalogs $500-$600.
