    Description

Lord & Taylor, 3 cents, HB-169, EP-51, Reed-LT03. VF-XF. The three cent Lord and Taylor encased stamp is an R.6 from a scarce and desirable issuer. This example has a bright stamp with lightly crazed mica. The merchant disc has been dented, which doubtlessly happened when this case was jimmied. This specimen should be observed before bidding. Catalogs $600 if original.

    Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 2EK4, PCGS# 661414)
