Italian Colony. Umberto I 5 Lire (Tallero) 1891 MS64+ PCGS, Rome mint, KM4, Mont-80. A striking near-gem example of this popular issue, and conditionally rare as such, with only two examples graded higher by PCGS. Deep gunmetal tone with underlying hues of amber, royal blue, and grapefruit, highlighted by a watery, almost Prooflike reflectivity to the fields.
