S-Mint Anthony Dollar, MS62 Brown
Struck on a Struck Cent
(19??)-S $1 Anthony Dollar -- Overstruck on a Struck Cent,
Double Denomination -- MS62 Brown NGC. A double denomination
mint error featuring the short-lived Anthony dollar. The date and
UNITED STATES OF AMERICA are absent due to the undersized host, but
the San Francisco mintmark is present above the shoulder. GOD WE
TRUST from the cent undertype is visible on the obverse near 12
o'clock. Toned in blue-green and rose-red hues.
