John Adams Presidential Dollar, MS63
33% Double Clip, Multiple Struck
Missing Edge Lettering
(2007) John Adams Presidential Dollar -- Multiple Strikes, 33%
Double Clip, Missing Edge Lettering -- MS63 PCGS. A large clip
extends from 7:30 to 11 o'clock. A second and more shallow clip
spans 11:30 to 1 o'clock. Both clips are mostly straight but have
curved endings. Close inspection reveals at least five separate
strikes, with a wide spread between the first and final
impressions. The rim varies in width and is very wide near 4
o'clock. The reverse exhibits a couple of thin marks made by a
curious finder.
