Description
Denver Mint Eisenhower Dollar
Struck on a Half Dollar Planchet, MS61
Type Two Reverse (1971-1974)
(Undated) Denver Mint Eisenhower Dollar -- Struck on a Half
Dollar Planchet -- MS61 NGC. 11.2 gm. Type Two Reverse, which
indicates the coin might be any of the Denver issues from the early
1970s (1971 to 1974). Nicely centered left-to-right on the reverse
and nearly so on the obverse. The Denver mintmark is visible, but
none of the date. E PLURIBUS UNUM is fully present, as are the
eagle, Earth, and ONE DOLLAR. Eisenhower's portrait is fully
visible, while the other obverse legends are partial. A hint of tan
toning and glimpses of mint luster enhance the pleasing,
grayish-silver surfaces.
