1810/09 S-281 Cent, Very Good
Double Struck, Ex: Ellsworth, Bolt
1810/09 1C Classic Head Large Cent, S-281, B-1, R.1 -- Double
Struck -- VG8 PCGS. Ex: Hines-Bird-Ellsworth. The first strike
for this cent was normal, but the cent did not fully eject. It was
struck a second time, 70% off center toward 2 o'clock, at 7:30
relative to the first strike. The second strike is uniface, since a
planchet was fed between the present coin and the reverse die. A
microgranular medium brown cent with moderate pitting on the lower
reverse. Pedigreed to Dr. Conway Bolt, owner of a renowned and
