5% Off Center AU 1827 Half
Square Base 2, O-112
1827 50C Square Base 2--Struck 5% Off Center--AU50 PCGS.
O-112, R.2. Struck noticeably off center toward 7:30, taking
portions of UNITED STATES off the flan. 85% of the date is present.
The rim is unusually wide near 1:30, and the dentils are double
struck within that region, although no evidence of a double strike
is seen elsewhere. A minimally worn example with rich orange-tan,
cream-gray, and gunmetal-blue toning.
