collar and rotated, showing a complete second die impression
several degrees rotated from the second, primary strike, flattened
out by the second impression. This piece is deeply reflective and
sharp, and the surfaces display rich bronze-brown patina.Ex: Purchased from Lee Hewitt (4/17/1972); Harry W. Bass, Jr. Collection, Part I (Bowers and Merena, 5/1999), lot 1011.
