Incredible 1857 Off Center Half Dime, MS64
1857 H10C Seated Half Dime--Struck 30% Off Center--MS64 PCGS. Struck off center at 12 o'clock, the centering permits the date to be entirely visible but lacks the mintmark area. Probably a product of Philadelphia, although it would be interesting to search for a die characteristic that might identify this as a New Orleans product. The surfaces are highly lustrous with exceptional aesthetic appeal.
