Description

1875-CC Seated Dime Struck 5% Off Center in Mint State

1875-CC Seated Dime Mintmark Below Bow--Struck 5% Off Center--MS60 PCGS. Struck 5% off center toward 12 o'clock on the obverse. Dusky gold toning on both sides with slightly darker tones on top of the devices. Satiny luster in the fields and fairly well struck for this date. We note a thin die crack through D STATES on the obverse. Although not as dramatic as seen on some off center errors, this one is very desirable for the CC mintmark. An opportunity for the specialist to put away something quite unusual.
