    Description

1878-CC $1 Morgan Dollar--65 Degree Clockwise Rotated Dies--MS64 PCGS. Only a few Morgan dollar issues are known with dramatically rotated dies. The 1878-CC is among these, but even this Carson City date is infrequently encountered with rotated dies. This lustrous and essentially brilliant near-Gem has a penetrating strike and pleasantly smooth surfaces.
