Description

Uncirculated 1880 Indian Cent Struck 25% Off Center

1880 1C Indian Cent--Struck 25% Off Center--MS64 Brown PCGS. Some muted mint red in the protected areas still shows on this Indian cent, chiefly including the date area, giving it a "neon light" effect. The coin is struck 25% off center toward 10 o'clock, so that most of UNITED and nearly all of STATES are off the flan. This Indian cent is boldly impressed, with considerable detail in the Indian's feathers and a clear L on the ribbon. A small die break runs laterally though the fourth feather. A few insignificant spots and nicks are consistent with the grade.
