Struck 5% Off-Center
1886 Liberty Nickel -- Struck 5% Off-Center -- AU58 NGC. The
1886 nickel naturally is a better date thanks to its low mintage.
Add an off-center striking error and its desirability surges. This
piece is off-center toward 6 o'clock but enough of the date is
visible to identify. Surfaces are gold-gray and blue with a
flyspeck noted at the T of UNITED on the reverse.
