Description
Important 1889 Morgan Dollar Error, Struck Off Center
1889 $1 Silver Dollar--Struck 5% Off Center--MS62 PCGS. The impression is off center 5% at approximately 3 o'clock with the result that there are lips of flan at the left borders. Save for some of the denticles, all features are boldly detailed, and the originally preserved features display mottled champagne tinged iridescence that appears to drift toward the margins. All error Morgan Dollars should be considered rare.Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 2558, PCGS# 7188, GSID# 7502)
