Double Struck 1890 Indian Cent AU50
1890 1C Indian Cent--Double Struck, Second Strike 85% Off Center--AU50 NGC. The first strike was normal, but the piece failed to eject from the dies, and was struck a second time, widely off center toward 7:30, at 9 o'clock relative to the first strike. Much luster remains, but this chocolate-brown cent has wear on the reverse near the second strike. The reverse rim at 9 o'clock is indented, likely from the second strike.Auction Info
