Double Struck 1894 Cent XF45
1894 1C Indian Cent--Double Struck, Second Strike 90% Off Center--XF45 NGC. After the initial normal strike, the piece did not fully eject from the dies, and was struck a second time 90% off center toward 12 o'clock. The second strike is centered at 12:30 relative to the initial strike. The second strike includes a full date. No planchet was fed into the dies between strikes. Cloudy olive-gray and rose centers with deeper brown peripheries.Auction Info
