Multiple Struck 1898 Cent AU58
1898 1C Indian Cent--Multi Struck, Two Dates--AU58 PCGS. The first strike was normal, but the piece was struck at least three additional times, each approximately 45% off center toward 12 o'clock, at 11:30 relative to the first strike. The additional strikes are two-sided, that is, no new planchets were fed between strikes. An lovely chocolate-brown cent with a hint of wear on the shoulder curls.
