Appealing XF 1899 Double Struck Cent
1899 Indian Cent--Double Struck--XF40 NGC. The second strike is just slightly northeast of the original impression. It is interesting that this piece experienced 20 points of wear before someone thought to pull it from circulation. Attractive mahogany-brown patina covers both sides. There are no mentionable marks, but some minuscule verdigris is noted near the date.Auction Info
