Description
1901 1C Cent--Double Struck--XF45 ANACS. After having been struck properly, the coin did not eject fully from the press. A second impression that is off center 90% at 12:00 is seen at the top of the obverse; two dates are readily evident. This is a glossy textured error with golden-brown patina and a lone carbon spot in the reverse field.Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 228W, PCGS# 2208, GSID# 1425)
