1901 5C Liberty Nickel -- Struck on a Cent Planchet -- AU58
PCGS. Light golden-tan color competes on the reverse with
deeper brown patina, while the obverse is mostly lavender-brown in
hue. The centers have a few wispy and inconspicuous marks. Struck
slightly off center toward 5 o'clock. A bold example of this rarely
encountered wrong planchet type.Ex: Larry Rausch Collection / ANA Signature (Heritage, 7/2005), lot 7208.
