Error 1905 Liberty Nickel Struck on an Unidentified Foreign Planchet

1905 5C Nickel--Struck on a Foreign Planchet--MS62 NGC. 2.77 grams. NGC does not offer a suggestion as to what kind of planchet this Liberty Nickel was struck on, but it was obviously smaller than that intended for the issue as the design did not fully strike up in many areas. The otherwise silver-gray surfaces reveal blushes of champagne patina here and there. The amount of carbon is minimal, but the luster is not full enough to warrant a higher grade.
