1905 Nickel Struck on a Foreign Planchet, MS62

1905 5C Nickel--Struck on a Foreign Planchet--MS62 NGC. 2.77 grams. This will make an interesting study piece for some interested numismatist. There are several important things we don't know about this coin. First, what's the composition? What world coins were produced in the Philadelphia Mint in 1905? Which world planchets weighed somewhere close to 2.77 grams? The devices are weakly struck, suggesting the coin was struck on a hard metal composition planchet, perhaps something harder than the 75/25 copper/nickel alloy for U.S. Nickels. Each side has light gray toning with soft, satiny luster.
