    Description

1906-D $20 Double Eagle--Broadstruck--AU58 NGC. Little needs to be said about the rarity of gold errors--they are the rarest and most desirable of all metals, and even the most insignificant error is a major event when the coin is struck in gold. This piece is broadstruck with an extra lip of flan around the upper left portion of obverse. The coin is bright and lustrous with only the slightest trace of friction evident. Sharply defined throughout.

    Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 26D5, PCGS# 9050)
