Double Struck 1908 Cent with Indent VF30
1908 1C Indian Cent--Double Struck, Second Strike 80% Off Center with Indent--VF30 PCGS. This cent remained in the coin chamber after its initial, normal blow from the dies. It was struck a second time, far off center toward 12 o'clock, at 12 o'clock relative to the first strike. A planchet (not included) was fed in for the second strike, between the obverse die and the present coin. This planchet caused a small obverse indent visible at 12 o'clock.
