Description
3% Off Center 1910 Two and a Half AU58
1910 $2 1/2 Indian Quarter Eagle--Struck 3% Off Center--AU58 PCGS. A few degrees off center toward 5 o'clock, with portions of the date and UNITED STATES OF AMERICA off the flan. The rim is prominent only near 11 o'clock on the obverse and 7 o'clock on the reverse. The Indian's cheekbone, jaw, and eyebrow displays a hint of wear. Gold coins were the pride of the U.S. Mint, and off center errors are very rare.Note for clients in the European Union: This lot is considered by the European Union to be “investment gold”. We believe that it meets the criteria established in Article 344(1), point (2) of Council Directive 2006/112/EC and thus should be exempt from import VAT regardless of the selling price. Any questions or concerns about VAT should be addressed to your accountant or local tax authority.
