Description
1912-S Half Dollar--Clam Shell Split--VF 20. The planchet is split edgewise with about a 70% "hinge," and approximately 30% of the planchet split. Usually caused by impurities in the planchet which caused the planchet to separate. A few nicks and scratches are seen on each side.
