Description
1916 Barber Dime, An Off Center Error
1916 10C Barber Dime--Struck 20% Off Center--AU58 NGC. This is a bright, golden-gray tinted error with a mostly lustrous sheen. A few sprays of charcoal iridescence are seen here and there, but the only singularly mentionable distraction is an abrasion on the obverse between the point of Liberty's bust and the final A in AMERICA. Struck off center at 11 o'clock with a full date and missing definition (perhaps including an S-mintmark?) at the upper obverse and lower reverse peripheries.Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 23FY, PCGS# 4870, GSID# 4345)
