Description
Impressive Off Center Error 1918-S Walker
1918-S 50C Half Dollar--Struck 5% Off Center--AU50 PCGS. The off center strike manages to have modest impact to the design, with the top of R in LIBERTY affected. Only lightly circulated, with ample (if muted) original luster and dusky-gray patina. A scratch in the right obverse field reduces the eye-appeal. The 1918-S becomes a scarce variety in higher circulated grades.Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 24PX, PCGS# 6576, GSID# 6718)
