Description
1920 5C Buffalo Nickel--Partial Collar Strike--MS66 PCGS. To the untrained eye, this appears to be merely a high grade Buffalo nickel with vibrant luster and chestnut-gold and olive toning. However, the reverse is fully struck, unheard of for a business strike, the TY in LIBERTY show distortion from metal flow toward the rim, and the reverse rim is much wider at 3 o'clock than is the obverse rim at the same location.
