Description
1920 Nickel, Struck on a Cent Planchet, MS61 Brown
1920 5C Buffalo Nickel -- Struck on a Cent Planchet -- MS61 Brown NGC. 3.1 grams. Wrong-metal errors are always of interest to error collectors. It is always surprising to see a nickel or other denomination with the Brown surfaces of a bronze coin. This example was caught soon after release. The surfaces are light, even brown with a hair-thin trace of red around the devices. Sharply defined.Auction Info
