Description
1920 5C Nickel--Struck on Cent Planchet--VF20 ANACS. Deep reddish-brown patina. Although the highpoint are worn, the final two digits of the date are clear, and all other legends are legible aside from LIBERTY, which is partly off the flan. A scarce 'wrong planchet' type. It is surprising that no one was observant enough to pluck this coin from circulation earlier, unless it was carried as a pocket piece.Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 22RP, PCGS# 3944, GSID# 3085)
Weight: 5.00 grams
