1921 Morgan Dollar Mint Error
Obverse Struck Through Grease
1921 $1 Morgan Dollar -- Obverse Struck Through -- NGC. NGC
did not record a grade on the insert, but in our opinion the coin
grades MS60. Though the obverse dentils are well struck, the
portrait, stars, and legends are poorly struck. A small pool of
grease was on the obverse die at the moment of strike. The reverse
is lustrous and well struck. Both sides are essentially brilliant.
