Description
Uncentered Broadstrike on a
Choice AU Semikey 1921 Dime
1921 10C Mercury Dime -- Uncentered Broadstrike -- AU55
PCGS. This semikey Mercury dime has a broad peripheral band of
unstruck surface, widest at 11 o'clock. Metal flow toward the
margins causes stretching and distortion on the peripheral legends,
most evident on STATES and the date. The bands are full, usual for
the type when broadstruck. Lightly toned almond-gold and
steel-blue.
